Scintillation detector consists of scintillation detector and light detector, used for α, β, γ, X-ray and neutron detection. It can be widely used in high-energy physics, nuclear physics, geophysics, biophysics, biochemistry, radiochemistry, nuclear medicine, geological exploration, space exploration, safety inspection and other fields.
Cerium-doped lutetium silicate (LSO) and cerium-doped lutetium yttrium silicate (LYSO) scintillation crystals are the best inorganic scintillation crystals, which have the advantages of high luminescence efficiency, short decay time, matching the luminescence center wavelength with the photomultiplier tube, strong radiation resistance, high density, high particle number, no delirium, stable physical and chemical properties, etc. Cerium-doped lutetium silicate (LSO) and cerium-doped yttrium lutetium silicate (LYSO) scintillation crystals were grown by pull-up method. At present, in the formulation of scintillation raw materials for lutetium doped with cerium silicate (LSO) and yttrium doped with cerium silicate (LYSO), I compensate volatile components at high temperature by adjusting the doping concentration of Ce4+ in the crystal. In terms of temperature field design and fabrication, flat interface growth, and volatile component suppression technology, the crystal can be grown without cracking, white filament, cloud and other macro defects, and the luminous intensity of the crystal is high, and the oxygen vacancy in the crystal can be reduced by high temperature oxygen annealing, and the luminous intensity of the crystal can be further improved.
